She always trusts he'll pick up. It doesn't stop her from letting out an audible sigh of relief when he replies.

"Still at Melody's house," she answers, leaning up against the door as she cradles the phone closer to his ear, "Bothwell's here and won't-- leave me alone. 'm hiding in one of the upstairs bedrooms."

It's not the first time men have tried to impose themselves upon her. It's not even the first time she's called for one reason or another related to this exact issue. It's just there's always going to be a bit of a tremble in her voice, every time.
